Production Manager



We are looking for a motivated individual to hire a motivated individual to manage and coordinate the activities of supervisors engaged in all areas of production. You will be joining the largest electropolishing provider in the world and a third generation family-owned company started in 1954. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Examine items produced to determine if items meet specifications
  • Follow production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for the completion of job assignments
  • Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations
  • Interpret specifications, and job orders to workers, and assign duties
  • Interface with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met
  • Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules
  • Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product
  • Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of the shop, department and work crew
  • Analyze and resolve work problems and assists workers in solving work problems
  • Initiate and suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals
  • Maintain time and production records for each department
  • Confer with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments
  • Perform activities of workers supervised as needed
  • Ensure time and attendance records are properly recorded
  • Manage and record rework and downtime for all production equipment
  • Ensure shop cleanliness and organization
  • Manage and maintain training records

Supervisory Responsibilities

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • One year certificate from college or technical school
  • Or three to five years related experience and/or training
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
